Anna Hiatt

Anna, the founder of Pure Chaos, is well known in event management in New Zealand. After graduating with a Graduate Diploma in Event Management (with Distinction), Anna spent 12 years in a variety of roles delivering major events throughout the country.

She was the event director for the inaugural Queenstown Marathon, which has grown to be a key event on the Kiwi marathon calendar, and project managed Mātariki Mackenzie, New Zealand’s latest festival celebrated in the Mackenzie district in June 2022.

Anna brings a wealth of experience, ranging from event conception, event planning and operational delivery, to commercial management. She has a strong creative and strategic mind, and extensive experience in stakeholder-relationship management. Running her own successful small businesses has further broadened her set of skills and ability to innovate and problem solve.

Anna is also involved in governance roles. She currently sits on the board of the New Zealand Events Association and is a Sky City Queenstown Community Trust board member.
